The new 18 hole modern links will open for play in summer of 2025 and complement the existing Championship modern links course.

How will the second course play compared to the original and first Trump International Golf Links?

The new course will be played prodomitley on less dramatic dunes however as noted in the below YouTube video,

"The course starts in a links environment before going inland to heathland, wetland areas, then into the drama of the dunes with views of the North Sea."

The course has significantly more freshwater, navigating some wetlands and "lochs" as well as heathland.

The second 18 hole course sits to the south in the direction of Aberdeen city.

Like the first golf course, Martin Hawtree is the principle architect but has been supported by two respected course designers. Christian Lundin, a Swedish based golf architect and Christine Fraser, a Canadian architect who is commitmented to creating playable golf experiences for players of all levels.
